Factory Operative – Egg Mayo & Batching Line
 
Location: Barnsley
Pay Rate: £13.77 per hour
Hours: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) | 35 hours per week

CSP Recruitment is looking for a Skilled Factory Operative to join a leading food production facility in Barnsley. This role is perfect for someone with experience in food manufacturing, batching, and mixing, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
 
Responsibilities:

Prepare and mix ingredients following recipes and manufacturing guidelines
Conduct pre-start checks and maintain food safety standards (HACCP, Food Hygiene, GMP)
Ensure products are labelled correctly and meet quality standards
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production targets

 
What We’re Looking For:

Experience in a food production environment (preferred)
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (Food Safety Level 2)
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Strong attention to detail
