An amazing opportunity for a proven Account Manager to join a modern, forward thinking company based within the construction consultation industry. With an ethos all about “making your world better” the organisation is all about their clients, employees, and the wider world. With a vibrant and energetic culture, the Account Manager will be supported with a strong team and leadership structure. Working closely with the National Accounts Manager, the successful candidate will be tasked with managing and growing a large national client base.
 
The successful applicant will have at least 2 years’ Account Management experience selling a technical product into the construction industry. In return the Account Manager will be rewarded with a generous salary and benefits package.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

Responsibility for growing sales revenue within existing and new accounts
Organising face to face meetings
Regular contact with existing clients through emailing and phone calls
Contacting potential new clients via phone and emailing
Working closely with the technical team and sub-consultant network
Create long term strategies for accounts and future growth
Attend meetings with clients to provide training, introduce the company and services and develop relationships with a view to securing tender opportunities
Achieve KPI’s
Undertake other responsibilities as and when required

 
Essential Skills:
 

2 years’ Account Management experience from within the construction industry
Experience selling a technical construction product (windows, doors as an example)
Excellent communication skills, proven ability to build rapport and develop business relations with a positive an engaging manner.
Confident team member within a business environment, with excellent social and interpersonal skills
Experience of working to a set of KIP’s
