Position: Hygiene Operative
Location: Kettering
 
Shift Patterns: Day and Night Shifts Available

Day Shift: 06:00 – 18:00
Night Shift: 18:00 – 06:00
Shift Rotation:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

 
Pay Rates:

Day Shift: £11.65/hour (increasing to £12.00/hour after Level 2 induction and training)
Night Shift: £12.35/hour (increasing to £12.70/hour after Level 2 induction and training)

 
We are hiring Hygiene Operatives to join our client’s Hygiene Department at a fast-paced bakery food production facility. This role requires a strong focus on maintaining hygiene and safety standards, working efficiently to deep-clean production lines, and preparing equipment for the next production cycle.
 
Key Responsibilities

Follow hygiene schedules and sign off completed tasks
Clean production lines to the highest standards, ensuring they are ready for use
Maintain hygiene equipment according to company procedures
Ensure downtime sheets are correctly signed after maintenance work
Comply with all Health & Safety guidelines

 
Required Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
Excellent communication skills
Ability to follow detailed instructions and take initiative
