A fantastic opportunity for a Vendor Performance Manager to join one of the global leaders in their marketplace. The client is a global brand focussed on providing innovative and inspiring products to the creative community. The Vendor Performance Manager work closely with the purchasing and supply teams and ensure the delivery of world class vendor and delivery performance.
 
In order to apply for The Vendor Performance Manager position you must have a thorough and demonstrable knowledge of vendor quality control and audit processes and the drive and ability to develop excellent relations with suppliers.
 
Key Responsibilities: 

Setting and forecasting the budget for the department
Develop and maintain delivery performance KPIs
Develop and maintain quality performance KPIs
Develop vendor scorecard and publish monthly to all vendors
Manage vendor non-conformance and corrective action reporting, including collaboration with vendors to ensure root cause corrective actions are established.
Develop and execute vendor audit process, including follow-up action plans with vendors.
Contribute to Vendor exit, maintain, grow strategy for vendors using performance data
Develop and manage vendor cost recovery program to support financial budgets
Manage resources to enable technical support for purchasing and sourcing activities
Provide regular updates to the business
Highlight vendor issues and/or concerns
Develop systems that ensure efficient working methods across the team/department

 
Essential Skills: 

Experience in Supply Chain, distribution or manufacturing performance management.
CIPS Qualification or equivalent
Must have an understanding of vendor quality control processes
Experience in a leadership position managing a small team
Must be able to analyse, manipulate, present and summarise data
Must possess excellent administrative and organisational skills, and a strong attention to detail
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, and be able to work individually or in a team
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, a must
Must be able to work in a multi-tasking, deadline driven, fast-paced environment
Must possess excellent goal setting, analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
Be a self-starter who is motivated, confident, and innovative
Role requires occasional international travel
