Telesales Representative


  • Salary: £15000 - £17000 Per Annum
  • Location: Chester, North West
  • Contract: Permanent

The successful Telesales Representative will be tasked at proactively following up leads and assessing customer profiles. Using your initiative, you will be identifying and following up with potential opportunities that have expressed interest in the business services from their online marketing activities. The Telesales Representative will be joining a dedicated and motivated team and can enjoy a very profitable commission structure, and fantastic career progression. The Telesales Representative will also be provided free parking, plenty of local facilities and a company pension scheme.

The successful Telesales Representative will have previous telesales experience within a B2C role. You will be target driven and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The Telesales Representative will also be self-motivated, have a ‘can-do’ attitude and have a hunger for results. Previous telesales experience within the financial industry is desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contacting customers that have completed an online form. No cold calling or trawling through data lists.
  • Assessing the likelihood of customers cases or the need for a pension review with customers and explaining the benefits of the business services, gaining commitment in proceeding
  • Build relationships with customers and obtain accurate information
  • Ensure that all leads are maximised and converted to their full potential with some cross selling
  • Deliver against defined targets every day and work with your manager to identify any development needs
  • Adhere to regulatory and compliance framework at all times
  • Be able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude

  • Must be target driven, motivated and able to thrive in a professionally demanding environment
  • Strong communication skills with excellent telephone manner
  • Confident in selling benefits and objection handling where required
  • Proven record of success within sales and be able to evidence this
  • Positive and professional approach to all areas of work
  • Ability to communicate effectively with our customers
  • Good understanding of English and Maths
  • Proficient keyboard skills
  • Ability to take on training provided and actively implement it to improve your skills within the role
  • A strong team player demonstrating a positive outlook
