Sales Support Advisor

An opportunity to join an expanding and progressive company as a Sales Support Advisor in a fast-paced and varied environment. As a Sales Support Advisor, your role will involve supporting business customers with placing and processing orders, building rapport with repeat customers to better understand their needs and offer deals and discounts where appropriate.  To apply for the Sales Support Advisor role, it is essential that you have either previous Sales Support, Customer Service or Order Processing experience, ideally in a fast-paced office environment. For the Sales Support Advisor role the ability to learn new skills and systems quickly is essential, previous experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office programs is also desired.
  Key Responsibilities:

Support up to 150 business customers with their orders, ensuring orders are processed quickly and accurately
Up-sell and cross-sell key products where appropriate
Handle inbound calls from various internal departments and teams, providing general support alongside logistical and distribution information
Processing daily distribution reports – ensuring all information is logged correctly on the system
Contact existing customers on request to take order information
Flexibility to cover other department tasks or assist as required with ad-hoc duties

 Essential Skills:

Minimum of 6 months experience in either a Sales Support, Customer Service or Order Processing experience
Good time keeping and organisational skills – reducing delays with order processing
The ability to communicate effectively with 3rd parties, customers and colleagues
Polite and confident telephone manner

Good problem solving skills – thinking logically to resolve issues

Microsoft Excel experience is desirable – maintaining existing spreadsheets and accurately recording information
