Based from their Midlands office, the Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and securing technical sales across England. Primarily concentrating on small to medium projects where the focus is on prompt execution, from initial enquiry to award. The candidate is expected to contribute to the wider functions associated with an area office, which could include assisting with more complex project sales and carrying out site visits.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Identify new business opportunities
Achieve or exceed the business annual and longer-term strategic objectives
Engage with the company CRM ensuring a rigid approach to customer follow up
Act as key account manager for large capture accounts
Assist in the delivery of marketing campaigns
Gather business data and report on sales performance, weekly monthly, yearly. Capture Win/Loss analysis
Working with the finance team to review profitability
Collaborate with other business departments to ensure we are optimising the overall customer solution
Continually look for improved, more efficient ways of doing business.
Ad-hoc duties as and when required to meet the needs of the business.
Observe and demonstrate behaviours in line with the core values of the company.

 
 
Essential Skills:

Experience in a technical or engineering field sales-based role
Proven sales ability and able to meet/exceed KPIs
Must be technically minded
Collaborate with other business departments to ensure we are optimising the overall customer solution.
Continually look for improved, more efficient ways of doing business.
Ad-hoc duties as and when required to meet the needs of the business.
Observe and demonstrate behaviours in line with the core values of the company
