Sales Development Representative


  • Salary: £24,000-£27,000 +uncapped OTE
  • Location: Chester
  • Contract: Permanent

We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Development Representative to actively seek new business opportunities, engage and build relationships with potential customers. You will generate leads for the sales team and provide complete and appropriate solutions to assist with boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

Core hours of work are Monday to Friday 830am-5pm.
Main responsibilities of the position:-

Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Contact potential prospects through cold calls and emails
Present the company to potential prospects
Identify prospect’s needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Sales Executives
Report to the Sales Manager on sales results

Essential experience:-

Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing and social outreach
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Experience working with a CRM
Fair understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to deliver engaging presentations
Have an understanding of complex sales cycles and dealing with top decision makers
Have the ability to form solid and productive business relationships, the confidence to be pro-active, and the ability to guide client discussions toward specific business objectives
Technical knowledge sufficient to demonstrate products to customers and respond effectively to customer’s questions
Fluent in English, in verbal as well as in written
Ability to travel if required
You must live in the Chester area
You must have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years and able to pass a DBS check
