We are currently looking for a Sales and Contracts Manager to work for one of the longest established environmental companies in the Merseyside area. The Sales and Contracts Manager will maintain and build strong relationships with new and current clients, costing projects and negotiating contracts.
This is a temp to perm role, providing a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to forge a long-term career with a highly successful business. Sector-specific training is provided to every team member, to ensure the high standards are met and exceeded.
Duties :

Utilise the lead generation and research system for new projects and potential work in the area, diarise and follow when due to start
Carry out site visits, meet site contacts and check for any access or H&S issues
Cold calling, by email and in person, to discuss company services
Costing for new work and sending detailed quotes for the work to be carried out
Verbal and written communication with existing customers for new work and to create good working relationships
Check company LinkedIn account for work and post news and updates when required
Completing clients questionnaires and providing site permits and licences when requested
Create spreadsheets for both customers and work quoted
Send out account forms and acceptance letters to new customers
General office and phone duties on a daily basis
Attend networking including monthly Chamber of Commerce meetings

Skills :

Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of exceeding targets
Experience within an environmental, construction or waste management environment would be preferable
Good business acumen with strong understanding of agreements, contracts and SLAs
Initiative and enthusiasm
Good planning and organisational skills
The ability to work calmly under pressure
Attention to detail
