Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 40 hours, between 8am and 6pm

Working as part of a well-established, successful and forward-thinking technology company, the Sales and Marketing Assistant will be reporting to the Marketing Manager. Working as part of a motivated and driven team, you will be involved in content production, writing blogs, press releases, sales reporting and lead nurturing.  The Sales and Marketing Assistant will be rewarded with 25 days holidays plus Bank Holidays, health care cover, pension scheme, quarterly reward and recognition awards, and regular social events.

To apply for the Sales and Marketing Assistant role, you should have 12 months’ experience within an office-based sales and marketing role, with a proven track record of consistently over-delivering against targets. Educated to degree-level or with equivalent work experience, the Sales and Marketing Assistant will possess excellent communication skills and a flexible, adaptable approach.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing
•       Data sourcing and account profiling
•       Market research
•       Co-ordinating events
•       Researching and writing content : blogs, press releases, awards entries
•       Data analysis and reporting

  • Creating and contributing to the employee newsletter

Sales
•       Lead nurturing and appointment setting
•       Assistance with presentations and proposals
•       Building suspect profiles for the new business team
•       Lead pipeline tracking and reporting

  • Co-ordinating meeting follow ups for the new business team
  • Production of sales reports

Essential Skills:

  • Previous sales and marketing experience, gained within a commercial, office-based environment
  • Ideally degree educated within marketing, events management or a similar subject
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Confident, professional approach, representing the business in a positive and engaging manner
  • Target driven approach to achieving goals
  • Effective communication skills to build relationships and influence at a senior level
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
