Regional Manager – South East

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Regional Manager to join a well-established company with ambitious growth plans. The Regional Manager will be responsible for leading and driving performance across key accounts in a variety of commercial sectors including retail, office and healthcare. 
 
The successful candidate will have extensive operational and contract management experience within the commercial cleaning sector (at least 3 years, with 2 years as a Regional Manager) as well as a thorough understanding of managing complex and diverse programs whilst mentoring and leading a team to success. On offer for the successful candidate is a generous salary and benefits package including company car, laptop, tablet and mobile.  
 
Key Responsibilities:   

Sole responsibility and autonomy for the daily running of key accounts 
Responsible for completing key account monthly audits and reports  
Responsible for meeting monthly KPIs   
Issue and control of staff uniforms 
Control of materials and equipment, including repairs, stock control and ordering within an assigned monthly budget 
Ensuring contract COSHH assessments sheets and Risk Assessments are completed. 
Completing and using Company administration procedures. 
Line Management responsibilities for the South East region within a broad range of contracts 
Assisting and overseeing performance management  
Assisting with HR practices, such as wellbeing meetings and managing staff welfare  
Ensuring that employees have been trained to standards and identify training needs to support career development 
Responsible for guiding Site Managers / supervisors to maximise both contract KPIs and their team’s personal performances. Also involved in setting standards, monitoring performance and managing budgets 
Recruitment of all staff on key account 
Team Building and promoting a harmonious working environment 
Ensure that employees are adhering to Health and Safety policies 
Comply with current Health and Safety Legislation. 
Report Health and Safety concerns through the appropriate channels within a timely manner 
Being a Health and Safety ambassador and to take a proactive approach to Health and Safety Management, promote good habits and methods of work 
Deliver safe working practices with a region 
Responsible for completing weekly timesheets for the key account 
Manage weekly Payroll report for the key account 
Oversee weekly payroll for Area Manager 

Essential Skills:  

Must have 3 years’ experience from a commercial cleaning/facilities management company with 2 years in a regional management role 
Substantial operational and contract management experience  
A thorough understanding of managing diverse programmes.  
Strong people skills and an excellent communicator 
Strong problem solving skills.  
A good understanding of how to get the most out of your team. 
An ability to mentor team members  
Proven ability to exceed sales targets.  
Full UK driving license and willing to travel  
Excellent IT skills, word, Excel and PowerPoint  
Must be wiling to travel throughout the South East Region
