The Part-time Administration Assistant role is the ideal position for someone looking supplement their income, or gain experience alongside education, without having to sacrifice their full working week. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am – 2pm. Day-to-day tasks for the Part-time Administration Assistant will include organising inbound and outbound mail, managing stationary and office supplies and general ad-hoc support for the wider team. The Part-time Administration Assistant will be a varied role based in open plan, modern offices with on-site parking, enhanced pension contribution and annual leave allowance.
 The Part-time Administration Assistant will be tracking stock levels of office supplies and stationary through internal databases and Microsoft Excel, so previous experience would be beneficial. The Part-time Administration Assistant role requires the handling of large boxes and packages of mail, often independently, so you should be comfortable with the physical element of this role. You must be a car owner with a full, clean driving licence.
 Key Responsibilities:
·         To collect the post from the Royal Mail depot, open and distribute the mail between departments
·         Control of general office supplies, stock and stationery ordering
·         Package and distribute promotional materials to clients, including posters and samples
·         Occasionally deal with telephone enquiries and emails from internal and external customers
·         Updating internal systems with stock levels
·         Plan and organise daily activities and workloads, ensuring all work and tasks are prioritised correctly and completed
·         Handle cheques, data and sensitive information
·         Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the team and other departments
·         Undertake any other administrative duties as required
 Essential Skills:
·         The ability to handle, lift, bend and carry often large and awkward boxes of mail and outbound packages independently
·         Driving license and own vehicle required
·         High level of accuracy and attention to detail
·         PC skills in MS Word, Excel and inhouse systems
·         Excellent telephone manner
·         Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
·         Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
·         Ability to work autonomously
