Operations Administrator (3-4 months)

Working within this successful and expanding business, the Operations Administrator is responsible for ensuring contacts and client information are entered and maintained accurately and efficiently in an inhouse system, enabling accurate and fast access across all departments, maximising all opportunities to achieve targeted revenue and profit. The Operations Administrator will work for a well-established company with a Head Office in Chester, who pride themselves on the bespoke service they offer customers. To apply for the Operations Administrator, you must have a previous administration background, with excellent analytical and numerical skills, and an acute eye for detail. The successful Operations Administrator will possess strong IT skills, a high level of organisation and the ability to liaise with people at all levels.
 Key Responsibilities:

Be able to read, understand and interpret a contract and its inclusions in order to use the most efficient and accurate process to load into the back office system
To load and maintain contracted rates, allocations and special offers into the company’s system
Support Team Leader in carrying out an audit of loaded contracts as required
Support the Sales team with any manual costings and contractual queries to ensure the company are quoting the ‘Best Price, First Time’ in accordance with departmental processes
Support internal departments with any system related queries
Support the Team Leader with regular quote checks to ensure accuracy of information loaded
Support team members seeking solutions to system challenges as and when they arise

 Essential Skills:

Previous administrative experience, with excellent analytical and numerical skills and an acute eye for detail
Good interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
Adaptable and dependable
Logical approach to problem solving
High level of personal organisation, time management and administration
A good working knowledge of MS Office programmes (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Positive and helpful attitude with a commitment to excellent customer service
Ability to prioritise workloads

Ability to work well under pressure
Team player able to work alongside colleagues and share workload
Flexible approach to working arrangements
Enthusiastic and positive outlook
