New Business Sales Executive


  • Salary: £20,000 + commission

  • Contract: Permanent

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm
The Business Connection are currently searching for a New Business Sales Executive to come and join a very established local employer. The New Business Sales Executive will be selling business services and market-leading products to new and existing customers. The New Business Sales Executive will be involved in calling clients, running through the benefits of using the business services and product alike and booking appointments for the sales team. The New Business Sales Executive will be joining a dedicated and motivated team and will be working in a well-known and recognised brand. The New Business Sales Executive can also enjoy a very competitive commission structure, great earning potential and the ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment working Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm.
To apply for the New Business Sales Executive, you must have previous sales experience gained within either an outbound calling capacity or within telesales. The New Business Sales Executive must also be able to work under pressure and work to targets, while having an enthusiastic and ‘can do’ attitude. The New Business Sales Executive should also have outstanding communication skills and be able to work autonomously. Key Responsibilities:

To understand a potential customers business and their plans on how technology will aid their own growth and development plans
Cold calling potential customers to book appointments
Generate referrals and leads for additional products and services
Proactively follow up leads and seek out new opportunities
To clearly demonstrate your ability to build a pipeline of opportunity in accordance with your targets whilst ensuring all leads are followed up
Use internal systems and update areas of contact with clients
Follow Company procedure in respect of prospects and daily planning
Ensure pipeline is up-to-date and all leads are converted or closed

Essential Skills:

At least one year working within a business to business/ telesales / outbound sales position
Experience working within a highly targeted fast paced environment
Excellent rapport building skills and hold high levels of communication both written and verbally
Tenacious in approach with excellent closing and negotiation skills
Determination to succeed to become the best
Ability to work individual both by managing your own time and workload
