New Business Sales Executive


  • Salary: £20,100 + Commission OTE £30,000
  • Location: Chester
  • Contract: Permanent

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
This is a fantastic opportunity working for a well-established growing company based on the outskirts of Chester for a Business Development Executive. As a New Business Sales Executive
and key member of a well organised and highly motivated team, you will be responsible for contacting new clients, running through the benefits of using the business services and products alike whilst maximising every given opportunity. The New Business Sales Executive will be joining a dedicated and motivated team and will be working within a well-known, recognised brand.
The New Business Sales Executive can also enjoy a very competitive commission structure, great earning potential and the ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
Suitable candidates will have previous sales or telesales experience, ideally gained within a B2B environment, and have a willingness to achieve and succeed. The New Business Sales Executive must also be able to work under pressure and to set company targets, while having an enthusiastic and ‘can do’ attitude. The New Business Sales Executive should also have outstanding communication skills and be able to work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities:

Desk based, prospecting new business for products, creating own pipeline, managing and closing referrals received
Generate business leads and following up on sales opportunities
Establishing customer requirements, selling products from a portfolio
Working to monthly sales targets and KPIs
Arranging meetings with clients via team viewer for product demonstrations
Following up sales enquiries promptly (referrals / website)
Creating and maintaining own self-generated pipeline by cold calling / referrals
Completing all sales from inception to close

Essential Skills:

Experience within a sales or telesales position
Have a natural ability to drive sales forward
An ability to speak to senior managers in large organisations to generate business leads and appointments
A willingness to make numerous calls with the resilience to cope with challenges and objection
Hard worker, proactive and enthusiastic
Team worker in sales-oriented environment
Self-motivated, confident and capable of using their own initiative
Ability to identify and create opportunities
Excellent organisational and time management skills
