Your responsibility as the dedicated Human Resources Business Partner, will be to oversee the HR functions and deliver best practices.

The Human Resources Business Partner will have credible knowledge of developing and implementing policy and HR strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
As the newest Human Resources Business Partner you will work in partnership with Heads of Department, employees and key stakeholders to shape, develop and deliver HR plans and solutions, in line with the needs and priorities of the business. Operating as the HR expert, to advise, guide and support employees and managers by providing high level people management and development support across all operational areas.

Understand the HR strategy and how this impacts on the Company wide business plan.
Design, develop and implement innovative, value added solutions that align with the business strategy.
Assist business leaders with anticipating and solving organisation, people and change related issues.
Identify critical metrics and lead with accurate data.

Change Agent:

Acting as a change agent for the business, employing a range of communication styles and methods and influencing stakeholders
Drive alignment with the organisations culture.
Instil company values and beliefs and champion diversity and inclusion.
Assess and manage any organisational change.
Assist Line Managers to lead and facilitate.
Enhance management development
Assist Management, at all levels, with performance management of their teams

Administrative Expert:

Ensure legal compliance in all HR paperwork.
Assist in creating and delivering effective and efficient HR processes and services tailored to the business needs.
Applies information technology to deliver quality HR products and services.
To ensure reporting via the HR scorecard is accurate.

Employee Relations Champion

Serve as a primary HR point of contact to the Senior Management Team with all HR matters to constructively influence and inspire confidence
To develop strategies and actions that enhance human capital contribution.
To deal with all Employee Relations issues, including disciplinary, investigations, performance management and grievances.
To ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures at all levels.
To ensure compliance with all Health and Safety Legislation.
Help build employee commitment and engagement.

You will be crucial in providing accountability over the following:

Act as a senior HR advisor on all generalist issues including employee relations, reward, engagement and resourcing and talent
Provide advice on Employee Relations casework (including disciplinary, grievance and performance management)
To proactively assist the Head of HR in the review and development of company HR policies
Work with the Recruitment Manager to assist in an effective talent management plan for your areas of responsibility and sister brands.
Support the People Manager with the delivery of the People strategy, ensuring that Sykes becomes an Employer of Choice.
To support and assist in all the HR projects to add value to the HR function.
To ensure that Job Evaluation is a consistent and on-going tools used within the business.
Work in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998) and to ensure all new systems and data are secure.
Any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by your line manager

Please note: The working hours for this position will be 37.5 per week to be worked Monday-Friday. This is a 12 month FTC covering a Maternity Cover within our team
