We are excited to be working on a brand-new role with our fantastic client based in London. They are on the hunt for their next hands-on Head of Marketing. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic, passionate, and highly motivated team player to join the marketing side of the business, which is currently thriving. The next Head of Marketing will have the opportunity to take ownership of the marketing model, create news stories, work closely with clients and implement digital marketing campaigns via social media channels. The candidate will also be required to write content for digital email newsletters and write analytical reports on relevant topics.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Increase relevant website traffic, sign-ups to a Supplier Directory, delegate revenues and
attendees, subscription revenues and overall engagement with industry/audience
Formulate strategic marketing plans which includes email marketing, social media, PPC, content
and data analysis to maximise attendance and grow reach.
Generate new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-toaction, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers)
Execute marketing campaigns to provide lead generation for both sponsorship and delegate tickets
Data analysis, building and research
Social media marketing
Analyse current marketing campaigns and plan future strategies for improvement
Liaising with graphic designers to create all promotional materials
Developing and implementing impactful contra deals with key media, industry and event partners
Updating our events website
Copywriting across mixed media and different promotional materials
Ability to build, develop and manage end-to-end campaigns
The successful applicant will have:
Degree or equivalent qualification/experience
A minimum of 2 years’ experience gained in a B2B marketing environment (maritime, transport or
technology background highly desirable)
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Confident and dynamic personality
Strong creative outlook.
Previous experience in events marketing
Experience creating marketing campaigns including list builds and email set up (preferred)
Used and mastered multiple digital marketing tools
Ability to develop deep understanding of audience, audience needs, industry/make up and
Keen understanding of data driven marketing
Success in delivering marketing across direct, online and print.
Strong computer literacy across all Microsoft and CRM products
Experience in –
Pardot and Salesforce
Paid Social Channels
