A fantastic opportunity for an experienced AWS NodeJS Developer to join an exciting and dynamic company and be part of a global organisation that is investing heavily in the development of new software and next-generaiton products.
 
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience with automobile remarketing, microservices, cloud infrastructure, as well as proven experience as a software developer. The successful candidate will also have a deep understanding of cloud developments (websites and microservices), data integrations, and emerging technologies. In return, the AWS NodeJS Developer will be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

Deliver high quality microservices and web applications which meet and exceed business expectations.
Coordinate code promotion and environment refreshes using DevOps methodologies and tools.
Ensure developers adhere to evolving coding standards, framework best practices, team processes, tool sets, and industry development trends.
Inspire and mentor junior technical resources.
Evaluate and lead prototyping of technical capabilities from the developer community and emerging technology that would benefit the vision of the organisation.
Ensure partnership with the Solutions Architect, Information Risk, and other corporate resources to ensure product designs are feasible and that implementations align with the organisations strategy.

 
Essential Skills
 

5 years’ experience in technical roles on software development teams.
Experience with cloud-based applications.
Passion for delivering new capabilities with a creative startup-like mindset.
Experience working within an Agile/Scrum framework.
Strong teamwork, self-management, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communications skills (active listening, written, and verbal).
Experience in Service API development, REST/JSON, Web API
Experience with Stateless Microservice Architecture
Learning agility – learning new business processes and priorities, technical architectures and developments, and companies and work teams.
JavaScript (Typescript desirable)Microservice development
AWS Technologies – Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS
NoSQL Databases – DynamoDB, Elastic Search
Serverless Framework
NodeJS
CI/CD – Azure Dev Ops (preferred), Jenkins, Circle, Octopus etc.
HTML5, CSS3
