Automation Test Engineer

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join an exciting and dynamic company, and be part of a global company that is investing heavily in the development of new software and next-generation products. The Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for providing automated testing of the delivery and execution of our clients full projects
 
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in technical roles on software development teams, knowledge and experience with automobile remarketing, and proven experience as an automation test engineer. The successful candidate will also have a deep understanding of automation testing, data integrations, and emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities:
 

Deliver high quality manual and automation tests which prove and improve the quality of products.
Inspire and mentor junior team members, sharing industry best practice.
Help the team to further adopt the use of automated testing.
Design and implement a robust test program across all development products.
Support the test process, from project specification stage to customer deployment.
Shape and test approach and process as the team grows.
Ensure partnership with the Solutions Architect, Information Risk, and other corporate resources to ensure product designs are feasible and that implementations align with the organisations strategy.

 
Essential Skills
 

Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical roles on software development teams.
Experience working with an Agile/Scrum framework.
Capable of setting up and managing continuous integration projects to run automated testing.
Strong teamwork, self-management, and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills (active listening, written, and verbal).
Learning agility – learning new business processes and priorities, technical architectures and developments, and companies and work teams.
Test Framework – Protractor (preferred), Selenium, Webdriver, Jest, Playwright, Cypress etc.
Azure Dev Ops, Jira or similar
HTML5, CSS3
JavaScript
Git
CI/CD – Azure Dev Ops (preferred), Jenkins, Circle, Octopus etc.
