Area Sales Manager

This is a rare opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to work for a well-established, market leading business. Working closely with the National Sales Director and internal sales team, the Area Sales Manager will be covering the London and Southeast areas and will be responsible for closing sales in the field by converting meetings that have been booked in by the sales team and generating revenue.
The Area Sales Manager will be rewarded with a salary of up to £35,000 + £62,000 OTE, 25 days leave, rising to 27 after 2 years, company car / car allowance, hybrid working, a company pension, life insurance, discounted gym membership and a cycle to work scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the development of revenue by achieving KPIs via meeting clients, presenting the database and creating ideas for new business.
Build rapport quickly, understand the prospects’ needs and present the database accordingly.
Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand and develop working relationships
Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor activity
Understand the ever-changing key marketplace, relevant to the client base.
Ensuring a thorough understanding of the clients’ key objectives, including their ROI objectives.
Ensure that post meeting reports are achieved within the set SLA timescales.

Experience Required

Minimum of 3 years’ field based B2B experience
Demonstrable consultative selling expertise to board level clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport whilst communicating with decision makers at all levels
Proactive and able to work independently
Confident phone manner.
Able to work with others and in a team
Determination and drive to succeed
Target driven
