Account Executive


  • Salary: £23,000 plus bonus up to £3900
  • Location: Wrexham
  • Contract: Permanent

A fantastic opportunity for an Account Executive to join one of the global market leaders in their marketplace. The client is a global brand focussed on providing innovative and inspiring products to clients. The Account Executive will work alongside the sales and marketing teams to manage high value sales accounts and oversee development of the UK and global sales and marketing strategy across multiple channels. This is a pivotal role and involves working with multiple teams and departments ensuring the successful implementation of sales and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities: 

Managing a portfolio of customer accounts
Working towards channel sales targets and set KPIs
Generating new business through current channels and identifying new opportunities
Managing and building a pipeline of new clients
Maximizing revenue by identifying and exploring all sales opportunities
Processing sales orders
Accurately recording customer information
Monthly and weekly progress reports
Using data and internal reports to suggest ideas for areas of growth
Implementing annual strategies with customers and coordinating key tasks to delivery dates required
Using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to proactively contact customers
Working closely with other internal departments to ensure we fulfillment of customer requirements
Play a key role as part of the team
Utilize internal reports and external sources to understanding and research channel trends
Occasional travel to trade and consumers shows and customer offices
Have a full understanding of the overall sales department processes.

Essential Skills: 

Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred or equivalent work experience.
2 years’ account management experience
Must be self-motivated and a driven individual
A strong desire to grow accounts and maximize sales opportunities
Must be a strong team player.
Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Good proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Previous CRM experience would be beneficial.
Strong attention to detail
Strong telephone communication skills
High level of organization
Ability to engage with business professionals at all levels.
Must be highly motivated.
Must be articulate, friendly and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in account management.
Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Willing to travel to clients and trade shows on occasion both nationally and internationally.
