Our client, based in Caernarfon North Wales, a specialist manufacturer for a variety of food sectors, are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager.  With an entrepreneurial and customer focused approach, our client takes the time to listen to our client’s requirements, develop concepts and take them to market in the most efficient manner.
Hours – 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Salary – £25,000 to £35,000 (dependant on experience)
 
As Business Development Manager, you will identify, develop and deliver new business opportunities with new customers and new channels, together with monitoring and evaluating all day-to-day sales activities, developing strong relationships with both new and existing customers to drive profitable and sustainable sales growth.
Essential requirements to be considered for the role include; a proven track record within sales and account management in the food industry, the ability to communicate at all levels, internally and externally, a can do attitude and a clear understanding of P&L accounts.  The successful candidate will be able to work to deadlines and under pressure as part of a team and on their own initiative.
In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and time keeping, together with the ability to analyse data and be proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel and PowerPoint.
 
 Required Experience –

Experience in food industry account management
A full understanding of account P&Ls
Organisational skills – planning, preparation and follow up.
Highly self-motivated
Advanced Excel skills
Highly numerate
Proficient with PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills and experience
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communicator and presenter
